To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson quot; |

About the Coach~ How I Got To Coaching:
The truth is, I didn't know myself. I was the oldest of 5 children and when my father died, leaving my mom with 5 kids to raise alone, I became the good oldest daughter, who would cause her mother no concern and do what I was supposed to do. I was going to be a teacher, because my parents both were. I ended up going into law because it seemed like an exciting and well-paying career. Because my husband suffered major medical problems one year following our marriage and was on disability from then on, I became a caretaker again to my children and my husband and tried to make sure my husband was doing the parenting "right".
Good grief, way too much emphasis on what should be done and expectations held by others. The more I looked at it and examined myself and my life, the more I realized I was taking out my frustrations on everyone because I really wasn't living my own life.
Does that grab you? Sound familiar? I know it is not uncommon, especially among women. We are so good at caretaking others, and have no clue how to caretake ourselves.
This is where my path to coaching began...

Who I Am Now:
My Interests are varied: I love to read and read every day. I have many books stacked by my bedside as well as in my office. I love learning and exploring new things.
If you ask me what I'm most proud of, I'll tell you that I have completed 3 marathons, the first one at age 46. This is really outstanding for me as I was truly the last one picked for every team in grade school. Always the wall flower, it's been in my adult years that I have learned that I am really outgoing and fun!!
I love to be outside, hiking, and doing yoga, which makes me feel more bendy and young. I only like movies that make me laugh and/or think, I love my fruits and vegetables (yes, pretty much a vegetarian), and oh so important, being creative, artsy and whimsical. I love animals and currently have 2 cats and a dog but one of my cats is about to make his life transition. Grieving and the inevitable cycle oflife - right here, right now. |

Who I Am As Coach:
I want you to be coachable, meaning you are ready to look at where you are and be in action to take steps to move forward. I truly believe you are the hero/shero of your own story and together we will get you really feeling that strength.
I am a coach who asks probing questions, but also is calm, centered and focused on your highest good. I've been told I have a calming demeanor and often conduct guided visualizations during sessions so you can really go deep and see what messages your inner self has waiting for you. These visualizations can also be calming and nurturing for you as you take those courageous steps forward.
I will provide a tip or tool for you with each session and guarantee you will walk away feeling motivated and inspired and ready to take the next small baby step.
Transitions are not easy. Let's make them easier. Credentials:
