"All
you need is deep within you waiting to unfold and reveal itself. All you
have to do is be still and take time to seek what is within, and you will
surely find it." ~ Eileen Cady…

MY RETREATS TAKE ALL FORMS:
- Day hiking
retreats
- Women's
day or weekend retreats to beautiful and restful locations
- Custom
retreats created for your group of friends, family or colleagues.
Do
you have a group you'd like to get together for bonding, team-building
or deep introspection? I'll put together a retreat for you.
What
is a Retreat? A retreat is giving yourself the gift of time ...an afternoon,
a day or a weekend, to withdraw from your ordinary life and create a safe
quiet space. Within that safe space, you can then listen for your own
inner knowing. This can be done via journaling, moving to music, walking
in nature, being creative, or sharing activities and ideas with others.
The end result is that you move closer to your center and your own authenticity.
You Might Feel the Need and Desire to Retreat if: you need to relax and
BE; you have lost, or never found a sense of your true self, you feel
stuck and unable to make a decision, you wish to experience personal growth,
you are going through a life transition or change.
What Can I Expect at a Retreat? Nature, play, fun, art, body, mind &
spirit connection through guided visualizations and journaling
Retreat Themes
include: Living More Mindfully, Solstice Celebrations, Nature Meditative
Hikes, Life Balance, Taking Care of Self, Managing Stress in a Changing
World, Positive Body Image.

Bobelaine Audubon Sanctuary is maintained by the Sacramento Audubon Society; this 430 acre sanctuary has an extensive loop-trail system where we can appreciate the variety of wildlife at this riverside habitat.

Grouse Lakes Loop Trail
When: October 9, 9:00 a.m.

When: November 13, 9:00 a.m.
Where: Wren Wetlands, Stone Lakes National Wildlife Refuge
This refuge has lots of perennial and seasonal wetlands, grasslands and woodlands. We'll see sandhill cranes, white pelicans, Canada geese and other species. A nice walk for all. Might be our last walk of the year as December generally turns rainy.
Journaling Group
When: Available by request for individuals or groups.
Where: wherever is comfortable; we'll do by phone
A journaling group is a way to support one another in maintaining a practice of daily journaling. I'll provide information, ideas for topics and support. Possibility to 'meet' via phone so anyone across the country can join. Contact me if interested.
